This year’s 16 Days of Activism Against GBV themed “Orange the world: End violence against women and girls now” event was characterized by a high turnout of residents at Nsumbu market.
The Natwampane YMEP coaches, CSE facilitators and SASA dialogue facilitators under Sport In Action (SIA) conducted a number of activities which included music, dance, drama, poems, football match, SASA and YMEP sessions as well as the One Stop Center mobile outreach all of which addressed issues regarding SGBV, SRHR and GE. Other activities included the Candlelight church service by the District Council Aids Taskforce last evening and Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) by the Nsama ART medical team.
A massive thank you to the Natwampane project, the Nsama Gender Subcommittee which includes all the relevant stakeholders and of course our hardworking volunteers for making this event possible.
