The primary objective of the distribution was to enhance sport development in various communities and promote inclusivity through sports. SIA’s core values are sports development, sport for development, and inclusivity. By distributing the sports equipment and kit across different Hub-Sites, SIA aims to provide equal opportunities for children and youth to participate in sports and improve their skills both on and off of their respective sports grounds.
The donated equipment included footballs, netballs, basketballs, soccer boots, sportswear, and other accessories. The equipment was in good condition, and the Hub-Site coordinators were thrilled to receive them. It will also promote a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness, and teamwork. The equipment will be used in games, training, and community tournaments, which will enhance social cohesion and inclusivity.
